„10 Years of Schillerhaus“ is a speculative story about the piece by piece transformation of the T60 building on Thurgauerstrasse 60, which is owned by the charitable nonprofit Paul Schiller Foundation. The story is being told from the perspective of an anniversary Ejournal, published by the Schillerjournal in 2030, which is run by a tenants project group.

The Ejournal is looking back on 5 stories about the Schillerhaus, that have been considered as the milestones of their journey.

The foundation of the stories is the incorporation of the foundations statute onto the building, substantiated by the „Schillerhaus Charta“ in 2020, which can be seen as an alternative concept to the Genossenschaftssystem, that would slowly expand throughout Zurich.

While the tenants can decide an how the capital will be spend, they start to become a community, that cares about each other and the Schillerhaus. Soon the neighbourhood gets involved, as more projects are emerging, affecting the ways, in which the inhabitants of Thurgauerstrasse live and work together.
