A mock up for an office building at Mythenquai becomes a single family house.
An intuitive misreading develops into an allegory of property, security, masks. It reveals a system that links the office building and the single family house, exposing them as formal expressions of ideologies and power.
But the mock up is also a promise and reminder that things don’t always have to be the way they are intended to. In demasking the buildings, institutions and individuals behind them it opens a margin for change.
