Moments in Movement

The continuous landscape envisioned in the urban planning of the post-war modernism is in reality obstructed by a series of barriers.

Along a line across the barriers, a sequence of 7 Movements reclaims the space of the in-between, the important space in the city that is neither public nor private.

Each Movement establishes the in-between through reconciling conflicting polarities, providing a space where they can interchange. They act as a threshold, as a place and occasion for interchange and form an articulated realm with multiple meaning to establish a dialogue within the diversity of needs in the landscape.
