The studio focuses on platforms for timber housing, challenging students to design both timber building systems and the factory models required for their production. Students work in small groups, acting as "housing factories" tasked with producing thousands of homes for Zurich over the next decade. Using workflows that translate sketches into buildings and AI to train models, automate production, and rethink scalable architecture, the studio explores how to create inspiring, sustainable housing at scale.
