The Public Library requires nothing of its visitors: no purchases, no membership fees, no dress code. You can stay all day, and you don’t have to buy anything.

A public place based on temporaneity, guaranteeing access to a multitude of on-site resources that includes books, e-books and magazines, job-hunting assistance, computer stations, free Wi-Fi, and an ever-evolving program to provide services to different groups of the population, from the most disadvantaged -e.g, asylum seekers, to students and academics.

The aspect of temporariness is linked to the right of property. The users who make use of this public place take temporary possession not only of objects but also of the place itself. From the book to the workstation table, to entire rooms, occupation is carried out not only by the individual but also by organised groups such as schools or organisations, which can benefit from the infrastructure offered by the library.
